Biography


Nico Wohldorf has more than twenty (20) years of experience as a management consultant. He specializes in the implementation of computer systems at large and medium-size corporations. His domains include project management, business process re-engineering and extensive functional knowledge of JD Edwards application software.

Nico Wohldorf is also the author of "Enterprise Systems Project Management - A Pocket Guide on Implementing Enterprise Systems", published in 2001 by Tawid Publications (ISBN 971-793-015-5).

He is a German national with permanent residency status in the Philippines.

Lead Consultant for JDE Plant Maintenance and Distribution system implementations at Philippine subsidiary of multi-national Foods company and subsequently at the Japanese subsidiary of a multi-national Oil and Gas company.

1997 - Senior Application Consultant at DataProfit Corporation, Maryland, USA

Joint DataProfit as Senior Application Consultant when JD Edwards re-assigned sales territory business partnership from Gateway to DataProfit.

1995 to 1997 - Application Consultant at Gateway Technical Services, Inc. Maryland, USA

Change of employment to settle in Baltimore, Maryland. First assignment on request of previous employer - now client - Carl Zeiss, Inc.: lead consultant for implementation at another Zeiss subsidiary (i.e. North American Distribution Center). Subsequently various JDE consulting and training engagements. Highlight is the - at that time - record four (4) month financial and distribution systems implementation project at a multi-site manufacturing company, using innovative computer-based implementation tools.

1994 to 1995 - Manufacturing Systems Analyst at Carl Zeiss, Inc., New York, USA

Moved to the United States to become a project manager at the US subsidiary of German optical company. Led the successful implementation of the JD Edwards (JDE) manufacturing and distribution systems at the Industrial Measuring Technology division in Minneapolis, MN.

1992 to 1993 - Consultant at Technopart Dr. Ing. J. Hiebel, Cologne, Germany
"Apprenticeship" as management consultant. Part of a team which designed and implemented project management systems for research and development. Using a system and change management approach, we significantly reduced the "idea-to-market-cycle" at several medium-size manufacturing companies.
